George Simmons
Something a viewer said last weekend has been ruminating and regurgitating in my mind for the past few days. She was comparing my show with Disney, in that it was just a few short years ago that the only place you could see something like what we do was at a Disney park somewhere. And the more I think about that the more awesome it is to look out the window or to stand across the street in my prime spot and watch. Because she's right and that just makes it seem even more awesome. It's so easy to take for granted but ten years ago who would have guessed...For tonight, for no reason other than just because I could, I put together a show with just my favorite sequencess. As I stood across the street trying to take it all in, I felt such a feeling of pride it was almost overwhelming. Thanks Dan. If somebody told me ten years ago I had this talent I wouldn't have believed it.

George Simmons
Be sure to say hello. Just walk up the driveway and let yourself into the yard. The dogs will announce your presence with your first knock on the door.

fxdwg
My father worked at Disney World, at Disney MGM stuidos, he was an electronics guy, and I can tell you this, i just could never get enough of the main street electrical parade. The synthesized music, and all the lights. (I actually run that song as part of our display), but as others have stated, well said George. Thanks Dan, and to all the folks here that are so helpful and welcoming to the new people.Take care, and Merry Chirstmas everyone!-Troy

TJ Hvasta
George, 'probably the best thing I've read in a long time, and the one that echos all our sentiments.. One of the sequences I use is the Disney Holiday Magic piece.. one of the nicest that wraps all the Disney magic into one medley.. I have been getting "You should work for Disney" for several years for my Halloween anamatronic displays, yes it's fun, but Christmas lighting is much more rewarding, and lasts longer too
wallleyes
It sure makes for a very fun 6 weeks here.Tonight at 10 pm there were no cars watching the display. So i grabbed my ladder to replace a camera on the front side of my house that was acting up.Before i got the camera changed there was 5 cars that showed up.Someone rolled down their window and said....Dont you think you have enough lights up already Clark Grizwold.First i have to thank George for getting me hooked watching his videos. Then i have to thank LOR for having the goodies for the addiction. Ed Slonka Jr
I have new neighbors that just moved in about a month ago that are 21 years old and a new home owners and had no idea about my house. The first night I went live he was standing on his porch called his Mom and sent her a video of my house and said "There is no way I can decorate now, how am I supposed to compete with that!"I hope most people think like me. This is not a competition but something I do to hopefully put a smile on someones face and have them forget about life for a little while and become a kid at heart again. Thanks to Dan and all at LOR and to all here on the forums for all their help along the way.May all have a blessed season! Merry Christmas to all!

You just checked it last night" I did go out to check things, but really it was to sit in the car by myself and watch all my magic........so much fun......
