MikeH
I use Light Show Primer 30 mins before my show. I seem to remember when I first started using this, the sheduler would start every day by itself. Now i have to re-start LSP every day in order for it to work. Is anyone else having this problem?MikeH
HowardShank
I had some problems but I don't remember exactly what they all were. One of them has to do with crossing midnight on a schedule. You just can't do it the way it's written. The second thing I make sure to end my LSP schedule 2 minutes before my LOR show begins. Gives the system time to shutdown the Windows Media Player. I know that if they overlap one of them won't work.I also enhanced LSP to support writing file information for RDS use.

I have it turn off about 3 seconds before my show starts. Sure would be nice to get the schedule to work like it's intended to be.Could you send me a copy of your enhanced version? RDS would be nice to have.MikeH
HowardShank
Here's the project with source. The executable is in the LightShowPrimer_Sourcebinrelease directory of the zip file. The RDS writes a PSfile and an RDSfile text file for the RDS application to use to transmit the information. The program uses the metadata from the song to populate the info. Specifically it uses Name and Author. It then removes any special characters, numbers, etc. because I wanted the name to begin with the first alpha character. I know this isn't ideal if a song starts with a number, but it's how I decided to make it work in the short time that I took to rework it. Attached files LightShowPrimer_Source_1-0b.zip
