No audio in show - what happened????

It sounds like the audio files might not be where they're supposed to be. When you installed the software it created a "default" location where it stores both sequence files and audio files. Are your audio files in that default location? You can point the sequence editor to find a file anywhere on your computer but the show player only looks in that single default location.

That's most likely what happened. I deleted and reloaded the software today to correct another issue ans "saved" the audio and sequences to another location. Back to the drawing board!

thank you for your reply! I appreciate all the help I can get!

In older versions, if it couldn't find the audio file, the sequence would error out and be skipped. Not sure if that's changed in more recent versions.

You can open up the show log (double click on the light bulb in the taskbar) and see if there are any error messages.

But I wouldn't expect the to play in the sequence editor if the audio file was missing...

Grasping at straws, but have you tried a reboot?

I have my show created again in easy builder. The show runs without audio. The sequences play audio in sequence editor but not in the show. Did I miss something???
I am soooo frustrated.:(

I'm in agreement with the missing audio file suggestions. Run verifier, and see what errors pop up.

That thing saved my bacon, when I moved all my stuff from my sequencing (win xp) to my show (win 7) computer. I thought I was being smart by having the main folder on my desktop, but noooooo, MS has to restructure the file system, and there's no more "documents and settings" in win7. Once I knew what was going on, I created the path and folder on the win7 computer and moved everything there. Problem solved.
