scubado Posted November 29, 2010 Share Posted November 29, 2010 Last night I had some of my neighbors over for hot chocolate and cookies and put on a show for them. During the second song about 1/2 way through, the music was going but no lights. I'm going Oh Crap, what just happened?! I ran inside to see what was going on and realized I selected an older version of a song that never got finished. Made the quick fix and back up and running. My former landlord stopped by to see the show too and is interested in this crazy obsession.Anyone else run into dumb stuff? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I had arranged with a professional videographer to come to my house at 3AM this past Sunday morning to video my entire show, all 20 songs. I wanted to video without having cars driving past.I had a boom box stereo to play the songs so that we could overlay good clean music over the video track.I started a Show on Demand and went out and waited for the show to start. It started fine, but there was no sound playing. I fiddled with the boom box but couldn't get anything to play. Ran back in the house and stopped the show and started another, this time planning to play the audio over a car radio next to the camera. Same thing, show started and no sound. After thinking about it for a while, I realized that my FM transmitter is on a timer set to come on at 5PM and go off at 11PM; of course by this time it is 315 AM.Once I powered up the transmitter of course everything worked fine, but had 30 minutes of frustration and a semi angry cameraman.I sure felt stupid but chalked it all up to the time of day. I was in front of my garage just listening to my sequences playing over my computer I had set in my garage. The lady from across the street went out on her front porch and I hear her yelling at her husband,....."BOB!! BOB!!!! LOOK AT THE NEW NEIGHBORS LIGHTS! OH MY GOSH!!! OHHHH MYYYYY GOSH!!! BOB!!! BOBBBBBBB!!!" My 8 year old son was out there with me. He looked at me. I looked at him! We both just started laughing like crazy! hahhahaaa For the last week my son when the show starts, screams..."BOB!! BOB!!! OH MY GOSH!!!
