pmclaughlin Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 I started my show tonight (ran it last night fine) with the dc-mp3 card and the sequences would play for the first few seconds and then skip to the next all the way through to the end of the show. I formatted a new SD card and created a quick show with 5 sequences and turned off the units put the new SD card in and the same thing is happening. I updated the firmware on the dc-mp3 card and still have the same problems. I am using LOR 2 on Win 7. I connected my laptop to the dc-mp3 card and I am playing the same sequences via the laptop without any issues. Anybody have any ideas on whats wrong? Thanks in advance.Pat
rayzermatic Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 I'm having the same problem. The show worked flawlessly last year. SD built with Simple Show Builder.MP3 & controllers have latest FW. (I figure that's why)pmclaughlin wrote: I started my show tonight (ran it last night fine) with the dc-mp3 card and the sequences would play for the first few seconds and then skip to the next all the way through to the end of the show. Dale W Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Make sure you have the latest version of the firmware (4.20). If not, update it and see if the problem disappears. As always, double check your audio file to insure it is a MP3 format - this has happened to me more than once.
margie Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 I'm having the same problem with my DC-MP3. Everything was fine for several nights. Then, sequences played for a little bit and switched to the next sequence. Sometimes the switch was after a few seconds and sometimes it went a little longer. I tried a new SD card with the same results. All my songs are mp3 constant bit rate. My DC-MP3 is running v 4.20. SD card (old and new) written originally with Hardware Utility. Then, I had the same crazy results using Simple Show Builder. At least I'm not alone with this problem. Anyone have a solution? Thanks,Margie

rayzermatic Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 Hi, well, I rolled back the mp3 firmware from the newest version 4.20 tov3.3 and all is well. I have no idea why, but the latest mp3 firmware was the problem on my system.
