captainron19
For those of you using a laptop to run your shows I was just wondering if you have any tips for keeping it cool and prevent overheating.I have mine sitting on a folding snack tray - used it last year and did not have any issues but it is obviously getting older and dont want any overheating problems.I normally power it down when show is not running but sometimes I do need to leave it on overnight and for a day or 2 when I cannot be near it to start everything up
JBullard
I have seen "Laptop Cooling Trays" for sale before. Just a small platform with a fan in it to help move more air.You could try placing some type of "spacer" around the edges of the laptop to raise it a little higher off of the folding snack tray, that might improve the air circulation some. TJ Hvasta
Most electronics super stores have laptop cooling pads.. thin case with fans in them, runs off usb port, less than $10..
