Seq How to

I cannot get the seq thing down. I know how to do everything else but seq. Im having trouble with the audio wave cannot follow it to get the seq with the upbeat of the song. If I stop it than i have to start over. Ive looked over youtube for examples and the lght o rama seq samples but cannot get my lights to seq right. Im running 48 chanels I have 3 colors on each window, which gives my 33 channels. Im trying to make them work like leaping arches but cannot get them to seq. Any help or if someone would like to remote in to show me I would take the help and in a heart beat. Ive always wantted to build a show and 3 years later hear I am just so excited about it This is my building so its a little bt different them a house and its in the heart of downtown. I was working on the lights tonight and seeing what I can do and just short amount of time I was working on them we had a huge amount of traffic stopping and looking at th lights. I have a fm transmitter and all the light hooked up a computer runnng 2 outdoor speakers I ready to go if I can get this dam seq thing down HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get some pre-made sequences from lorsequences.com.

If I understand you correctly, have you tried selecting Play>Play Range >Visible screen. If it's the timing that's off, try Edit>Skew Track and add a tenth of a second at a time till it comes out right.

Two questions, is your music file a .wav or constant bit rate MP3? Otherwise it will skew or drift from your sequence. Have you tried using the beat wizard? I add a channel for Beat and have the wizard insert a timing mark (1/4) for reference. I feel your frustration, something is not right...

Try useing different timing grids.....0.05....0.03....0.01.....0.20 etc

The Space bar will stop/start where you left off.. when you start a song, click anywhere on the grid then hit the Space bar, the player will stop.. do some add/make changes, then hit the Space bar again.. the player will start again.. and so on.. Biggest help is that, and setting the player to play at half speed.. Click Play on Menu bar, Speed (at the bottom of the drop down window), then 1/2x... makes timings -much- easier!
