Salts
Ok... I was finishing up my display this evening and when I powered up the LOR1602W controller the status LED is not lighting up at all. In addition to that if I cycle the power switch on the front of the controller, the 3 led mini trees in the yard will flash and then go dark, but still no lighting of the Status LED... Any idea what will cause this... I checked the fuses and the board looks fine physically. What can I check on this?
-klb-
Does hardware utility still see it? Does it respond?Have you tried resetting it? Turn off, set dials to 00, turn on for several seconds, turn off, set dials for correct id, an power up.
Salts
Hardware Utility does not see it. I even took the laptop out to the controller with a different cable to make sure it wasn't the enet cable I had hooked up to it, and still no go. I did a reset on it with no luck. It doesn't even give a quick blink on the status LED when I do the reset.
cmoore60
Some basic questions.Do you have both power cords plugged in? Are the fuses good? The right side of the board 9-16 is what controls the on board electronics. You may want to try pressing on the U2 chip. U2 is the processor and is what controls the LED as well.Chuck
Salts
Both Power Cords are plugged in, fuses are good, I couldn't remember which chip was the CPU chip co I pushed on every one of them.
cmoore60
There is a troubleshooting guide on the support page of the LOR website. However, if you are not familiar with a multimeter, then I would suggest you give LOR a call tomorrow.Chuck
