Audio???

How do you all get such good audio on your videos? I see some with some crappy audio. But most I see here have great audio in tune to the display They are videoing. Whats the trick? I was thinking of taking the video cam and doing the video,....and taking the mic port and running my mic into the car across the street while I am outside. NOT SURE THAT MADE ANY SENSE? LOL I use an FM transmitter. No speakers outside

I use Movie Maker. First I take the video, then I add the audio file using Movie Maker. Doesn't take too long once you get the hang of it.
