CLD Kevin
I'm sure most of you have better things to do at 5am on Black Friday...like sleep...but HD is selling 50ct LED mini lights multi or clear for $1.98 each. Dont know if they are dimmable.http://homedepot.shoplocal.com/homedepot/default.aspx?action=entryflash&THD_LOCSTORE=1002%2bHuntington+Park+%2d++Huntington+Park%2c+CA%2b48&THD_MINICART=%7b%22I1%22%3a%220%22%2c%22F1%22%3a%22true%22%2c%22F2%22%3a%22false%22%2c%22D1%22%3a%22%240%2e00%22%2c%22D2%22%3a%22%24249%2e00%22%7d&THD_MINILIST=0&THD_USERREF=240357407&THD_USERREGTYPE=anonymous
friskybri
My best guess is no. Take the lights over to the electrical section and find a dimmer cord. I was thinking of going out this morning but the good stuff is limited to like 10 or so. My wife went out and struck out on everything. She said you had to be in line by 2am. Most of the people that sit overnight are younger people that don't pay rent, have a mortgage or a job. I find it funny that people will line up on wed night spend almost 48 hours in line. For an extra 100 or 200 off. LOL work one extra shift and take care of that. Or better yet I just sat at my computer and ordered the better stuff from new egg or mwave. No sales tax and no lines. That insanity crosses all geenrational lines.Seems like now it is more a novelty competition among stores who can have the most outrageous opening hours...not so much about 3 dollar DVD players. All I know it...I like the idea of waking up at 7 AM, thinking "another day of vacation, still got to finish a couple more mini-trees..."...and then snoozing for another 30 minutes.. wglyons
I went to Lowe's and they price matched the $1.98 from HD. So, GE 50 count clear LED's were marked at $6.47 and I got them for $1.98 each. Bought all they had (51 boxes) and the GE's do dim just fine...Greg

alaskastudio
I got 81 boxes of the sylvania from home depot. They seem to be dimming just fine.My question is I bought 33 boxes of muti colored. The LED's are removable/replacable. I know different color LED's require different voltages, but can I pull out all of the LED's and make solid color strands? I am wondering if all of the LED's are the same internally, but with a colored lens part.
