Rain and lor controllers

I kept mine on (powered up) every day last year through some of the heaviest rains and no problems with the units.

Someone actually told me that it is best to keep power on because of the small amount of heat generated by the circuit board actually helps to reduce the amount of condensation that could build up in the unit.

I pull the cord if I'm home. My boards are inside, the lights are still live even when 'off', try playing with your lights when they're wet. Some of my led strings have a slight glow when off, even when everything is dry.
