WynsWrld98
I just opened my LOR 1602MP3, figured out how to use simple show builder to set what plays and what times on SD card but am wondering how to set current day/time in 1602MP3 itself??? And how long does it retain that date/time if unplugged? I tried to find this in manual but I didn't see it and did a search in this forum for 'set time' and it come up with nothing. Help! WynsWrld98
yeah I am using the Simple Show Builder and didn't have any interest in attaching 1602MP3 to my PC. So what you're saying is by doing this I should put a blank SD card in, it will write current day/time to it in a format the controller can read it, I should immediately put SD card in controller to read it? Just leave it in for 30 seconds or so then remove then I can put my SD card in that I wrote my sequences on?How long does the controller retain the day/time if left unplugged? Thanks for your help! displaysinmotion_will
use the same sd card that you loaded your ssb file onto it wont over write it. aslo the time is lost whenever power is lost

WynsWrld98
thanks for the PDF manual, that manual was NOT included with my 1602MP3, a manual specifically for 1602MP3 was included and it is terrible compared to the PDF link you provided, the PDF link manual is much more thorough, covers all of my questions.thanks again! lightingnut
I am trying to set the time on my controllers. It is not working right. I loaded the time onto the SD card then installed the card. Both controllers are powered. show is set to start at 5 and end at 11pm. For some reason controller 2 is running and controller 1 is not. The show has 32 channels. The time of this post is 3:27 pm central time.Controller 1 has the MP3 card controller 2 does not. What am I doing wrong?
lightingnut
I think I just figured it out. I had the show01 which is 4 songs already loaded on the SD card. I was trying to just add the time file to the SD card.So what I did was reload the 4 songs which makes show01 along with a time file and that seamed to stop controller 2 from running when it was not to be running. Will see what happenes at 5pm when the show is to start.
