Outside is up, inside now being set up.

I just finished up the outside and am now working on the interior. seem to have misplaced a couple of animatronics, a Mr. and Mrs. Claus. God only knows where they got off too, have two others, but they don't move very well, sometimes not at all, actually just barely noticeable when they do move. LOL But they are up in the Living Room window. Will be posting vids of the Christmas Display when I finally get everything all together. Been working on all this since 11/1! And I still have a LOT oof inside work to do as well as try and get some more Music sequenced for the outdoor lightshow display. Got seven or eight songs done, but had hoped to have at least 20-25 for the Christmas display by "light up" Thanksgiving evening. Looks like it's going to be just a few songs and I'll keep adding the others in throughout the season and get done what I can up til around Dec. 10th. What music I have completed at that time will be it for this year (2010), but I'll still keep working on more for next years display.

My current Christmas song list are: (not played in the order shown)

Christmas Bells, Carousels and Time - Trans Siberian Orchestra (TSO)
Christmas Jams - TSO
Queen of the Winter Night - TSO
Siberian Sleigh Ride - TSO
Wizards in Winter - TSO
Welcome Christmas (from the cartoon "How the Grinch Stole Chirstmas)
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer - ?
Drummer Boy - Go Fish
Where Are You Christmas? -? beautiful Song that my outdoor blowmold Mrs. Claus sings the lyrics. Don't recall the aritst that sings it though.

In the works:

Still Nacht (Silent Night in German)
The Christmas Shoes
Hot Chocolate (from the Polar Express movie)
Mary Did You Know - Claude Aikens
Grandma's Killer Fruitcake - Ray Stevens (this is very funny!)
House on Christmas Street - Judy Pancoast
When Christmas Comes to Town (from Polar Express movie)
Wish Liszt (Toy Shop Madness) - Trans Siberian Orchestra
Jingle Bell Rock - unknown
Joy to the World - unknown
Run Rudolph Run - Billy Ray Cyrus
Winter Wonderland - unknown
Music Box Dancer - Frank Mills
It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year - ?
Mrs. Santa Claus - ? (children's Choir)
Beleive - (from Polar Express movie)
Carol of the Bells - Manheim Steamroller
Holly Jolly Christmas - ?

So you can see, I still got a lot of work and sequencing to do. I know I won't get these all done for this year since it takes a lot of hours and time to get everything down just right and even some of my completed songs have been "kludged" a bit. I clean them up better for next year, but this year, too little time to get them like I'd prefer them to be. But they still look pretty decent.

Well it's time for me to get moving and get back to work!

BTW: Only the outside is controlled by LOR controllers and an DC MP3 Showtime Director with MBB Eclipse 4000 FM Transmitter set to 95.9 FM. The inside is all animated by each light strings own controller, motors (animatronic characters with C7 bulbs) or just steady on lights. Maybe one day the inside will be controlled by LOR, but that's still a good way away yet.

when your all set up inside and out how about a video? :)

Plan on doing just that Don. Don't have the best camera for vids, but it suffices. I use a Nikon Coolpix P2. (figured someone would ask....eventually).

Oh drat. I've run out of words!:):)
