Understanding LED fading and snubbers

I appologize in advance for the bother as I know everyone is busy finishing off their shows.

I did some tests tonight with my C9 retro LED and C6 LED bulbs ... it doesn't appear that they turn off below 20% when dimming up or down.

Is that something I am doing wrong in the software or is that the need for a snubber ?! All lights were purchased through CDI so I know the quality is good and they are dimmable lights.

Thank-you for your time !

Hi Dave:

My retros (R, B, and G) were also purchased through CDI, and they dim fine.

Assuming you have the latest version of hardware firmware, then either add a snubber, of an incandescent bulb in line with each channel.

That should smooth things out for you!

Thanks Greg .....

Doing more testing this morning before the sun came up ( just getting home from night shift ) I think they dim ok and was more one color over powering the other.

How do I go about checking the firmware version that I have !?

Some colors are brighter then others

To check the firmware, open the Hardware Urility, refresh your controller list. The firmware version will display just after the unit ID
