RaceMedic Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 I appologize in advance for the bother as I know everyone is busy finishing off their shows.I did some tests tonight with my C9 retro LED and C6 LED bulbs ... it doesn't appear that they turn off below 20% when dimming up or down.Is that something I am doing wrong in the software or is that the need for a snubber ?! All lights were purchased through CDI so I know the quality is good and they are dimmable lights.Thank-you for your time !Dave
Greg Young Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Hi Dave:My retros (R, B, and G) were also purchased through CDI, and they dim fine.Assuming you have the latest version of hardware firmware, then either add a snubber, of an incandescent bulb in line with each channel. That should smooth things out for you!Greg
RaceMedic Posted November 23, 2010 Author Posted November 23, 2010 Thanks Greg .....Doing more testing this morning before the sun came up ( just getting home from night shift ) I think they dim ok and was more one color over powering the other. How do I go about checking the firmware version that I have !?Dave

The firmware version will display just after the unit ID
