dharker Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Hello, If I have a pattern, say an x and a diamond going over 3 seconds of time and spanning 15 channels (as an example). If it is currently set on at 100% and I want to change just the pattern to now be on at 50% is there a way to do that ? So is there a way to highlight a block of time/channels and say make this change but ONLY to those channels that are on ? If I highlight the entire pattern and tell it to set intensity, it does it for the entire square box, so my pattern is gone...hope my question makes sense
captainron19 Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Makes sense but dont think there is a way to highlight a pattern that is an odd shape... think you might have to do it manually in case someone knows a trick I dont.I will have to get your local from you in Mt Laurel.... Burlington Twp here and I will have to pop in and see your display
Don Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Highlight the group of cells that you want to change, and select the "Foreground Effects" tool. Then, select the intensity tool to change the intensity.Note, though, that the Foreground Effects tool will effect all cells that are have anything in them. So, if in the group of cells that you selected there is say, a twinkle, those cells would then be changed to a 50% On (assuming you do the above, changing intensity.)I'm a keyboard guy, don't know which icons to hit when. So, highlight the cells and hit the letter R then I.
dharker Posted November 10, 2010 Author Posted November 10, 2010 Sounds good Ron... Thanks Don what you describe is exactly what I want and will need to try it tonight. Guess I better read up on Foreground and Background since what you described will save me a lot of time Appreciate the help
