Hello,

I am in need of a driver. I am no longer able to read the model number or serial number so I am attaching a picture. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome!!

Thanks

Jim

When you plug it in and the new hardware found process unfolds, at some
point it will tell you the name of an *.inf or *.sys file for the device
it wants the driver for. The name is unique to the device and usually
relates to a manufacturer's name or something like that.

If the name is, as an example, abcd.inf do a google search for "abcd.inf
driver" or "abcd.sys driver" and that might turn it up.

A second way is to do a google search for any brand names marked on the
device.

One of the most commonly used USB to serial bridges is the Prologic
PL-2303. A google search for "PL-2303 driver" will produce a driver
that will work if that happens to be the chip in your device.

Just checked.. I actually have a driver that would probably work with yours. It's for the ProLific PL2303.. I have it for XP and I think Vista.. should work with 7 too.. PM me your email addy and I'll see if I can get it to you..
