Frazier37 Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 I have recently sequenced "Blue Christmas" and i have the sequence set so that when Elvis says "blue" all of my blue lights will fire. None of the blue lights work at this certain part in the song. The tricky part of it all, is that the blue works perfectly on every other part of the same song. I have checked and double checked my channel sequence grid. I cannot think of anything else to check or do if anyone can help. It would be appreciated.
TJ Hvasta Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Hmmm, not sure why the same lights would work in one part of the song but not work in another.. you're absolutely certain those very same lights work in other parts? If they are not the very same light sets, I would check the channel assignments. What type of lights are you using (led's, mini's)? The very same lights work in the Hardware Utility? Does it work correctly in the Visualizer? If they are the very same lights, then what actual events do you have selected to light them at the "blue" parts? Just On, shimmer, twinkle, fade, etc? I would start by changing the event to something else, if it's just On, change to Twinkle, etc.. I would then next do a board reset then try it again.
-klb- Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Run the LOR verifier to check for duplicate channel assignments, etc. Also, any CFL bulbs in the show?
Victory402 Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 See there, it's proof that elvis is alive...
rwertz Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 I can vouch for the channel assignments in the sequence. I had the OP send me their sequence (this issue was on PC earlier). I brought the channel config into Excel and sorted by Unit/Circuit. There were no duplicate assignments.
bob Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I also suggest running the Verifier. It will check for other possible causes of this problem too, not just for duplicate channel assignments within the sequence itself.Does this happen when you play the sequence directly in the Sequence Editor, or during the show itself, or both?
