Audio Analysis Error

I am just beginning to experiment with the editor. However on a new song I just added I get this error message when I try and show the wave rows at the top.

Can't init conversion



What am I doing wrong? I added another new song yesterday and it worked fine.

What kind of audio file are you using? For example, MP3, WAV?

Does it happen on all files, or this one, or somewhere in between?

You might want to try converting it to a different format (such as converting MP3 to WAV, or vice versa) and trying the new file instead. You can do so using an audio editor, such as Audacity:

I have been using the editor in itunes to convert my itunes to mp3 most of them work, however a few do not . I have tried both 160 and 128 kbps.

Any other ideas?

I have been using the beat wizard when that error occurs. It also occurs in tappper, but not when I do not check a wizard.

I would try Audacity. Perhaps LOR doesn't like something that the iTunes converter puts in there.

In any case, could you please send me (bob@lightorama.com) an example of an audio file that has this problem? Thanks.
