rye381
I just got my Belkin Tunecast II in the mail and when I got it opened to do the Mod, it looks a little different than all the videos and pictures I have seen. I would like to get as much range as possible out of this, really only need about 100-150 ft. I attached some pictures of how it looks and here is an explanation of what I have found so far:1 - The original Antenna placement, which you are supposed to clip off? That's what I have read in other posts but one video shows that he kept it attached. Not sure what to do on that.2 - This is the placement of the Antenna where one guy shows that he superglued a new wire for the Antenna. I tried this and it does sound a little bit better but still not that great.3 - In the second attachment, this is a place that one guy had said he soldered a piece of wire to that last leg on that chip. When I just place the wire there, it seems like the range gets a lot better but I am not sure if this is right. Can anyone verify that instead of soldering a piece of wire to #2 you could solder a piece to #3?I am a little new to these FM Transmitter's so I am not sure exactly how to do this one, especially when all the video's are for the White Tunecast. The Black one is just a tad different. Thanks in advance,Ryan Attached files

I'm not familiar with that belkin board, but I do know that connections need to be soldered, not glued for proper contact. Try that, and see how it goes.--Mike
