shfr26
I have been having a minor problem with the forums. If I read all the new posts or even "mark forum read" I still get the gray box saying there are new posts. If I "mark all forums read" the show no new posts until I open a different thread, then they show new posts again, but there are no new posts. Anybody else having this happen to them? shfr26
Maybe it's just a Florida thing.
shfr26
I'll be nice and let it go. And yes, I have cleared all history and caches. By the way Jeff, LED"S????

shfr26
85 degrees outside, nice breeze, leaves finally falling on tress so I can think about starting to set up. Good day to sit inside and sequence, and then go outside every now and then to check that everything is ready to start. Maybe one of the Admin"s will see this and chime in. Not a problem, just an annoyance since I'm old and can't remember what I read already.

bob
Maybe one of the Admin"s will see this and chime in. Sorry, this one of the admins has been having this problem ever since these forums opened, years ago. I have briefly looked into it a few times, but have been unable to figure it out. I am hoping that the change from WowBB to whatever the new forum is going to be will sort it out, but I don't know.Every once in a while, it magically stops happening. Then a few weeks, or days, or hours later, it starts again.I eventually more or less stopped using the "forum list" page because of this issue - instead, I just use the "Recent" button, which lists threads in the order that they have been created or added to, with each one appropriately marked as read or unread. Well, sometimes a particular thread is still marked "unread" after I have read it, but that is pretty rare, and it always clears itself up pretty quickly when I just click on that thread again. Guest guest
Don't know about anyone else, but it has been really bad today. Two different computers, cleared cookies, cache, etc...still seeing a lot of bogus "unread topics" indicators showing when there is nothing to read.Phase of the moon? Sunspots? A revenge plot hatched by Yankees or Phillies fans?..
