darrenv
This is my first use of the DC-MP3 to run shows.I have a show that need to run every day of the week from 6pm through 1am.Question: When I designate a scheduled time of , for example, Monday from 6pm-1am - does the DC-MP3 understand that I mean from Monday at 6pm through Tuesday at 1am? Or does it understand this as Monday 6pm through Monday 1am - which would be confusing?I've read about early problems with the midnight transition on Saturday nights as well.In the end, I just want to be sure that if I set the schedule to run:Mon-Sun, 6pm-1am - that it plays as expected. Thanks!Darren
Tim Dorr
Darren, I don't have an answer for your question as I've never though of running my show into the morning hours. Want to keep my neighbors happy with me. So I'm curious as to why you want to run your show until 1am ever night/morning?
Don
The transition from Saturday to Sunday was a bug in one specific version of software, and only affected you if your Saturday show ended at midnight. As for the scheduling part, I've never programmed an MP3 player to run after midnight, but I don't see any logical reason why it would be any sort of a problem. darrenv
Hi Tim,I'm with you - My neighbors would be pounding on my door if my show ran 'til 1am That's what makes this a unique to me in terms of the shows end time - I've never run a show past midnight. However, this is for a client at a resort area where the retail/restaurant/bars that make up the complex are open until 2am... hence, running I'm a show past midnight for the first time. darrenv
THanks Don - I'd forgotten that the sat/sun was an old software problem. I did get a note back from Dan confirming that everything should perform for me as expected. So that's good - I was just looking for a little confirmation as I head down there to start the install today. Looks like I'm good to go!
