Bob Musil
Is there a way to do a chase on a single channel, so that it appears as if the light is flowing down the line? Using C-9 LED's, I have the eaves of my house on a single channel, and I would like to have them chase backwards or forwards.Bob
Don
The controller sends the command to the controller/plug. Thus everything on that one particular channel will do the same thing. You would be able to control individual bulbs on a C9 strand with a single channel. Bob Musil
Is there a way, short of interlacing multiple strands on different channels, to achieve this effect?
Don
Oops. Yes, I left out the word "Not"Unless you have a device and/or strand of lights hooked up to a channel, there would be no way to do this.
Keith Adams
I takes 4 channels to make a good chase. You just offset the strings of lights by a few inches. You start with channels 1&2 on then 2&3 then 3&4 ect. If you try 1 color at a time it just looks blinky and not a chase. You can also try 3 on and 1 off and just move the off bulb. pdowns
You can minimize some of the personal effort by purchasing chase lighting. You don't have to make your own. You don't even have to program them yourself. Chase lighting has multiple wires in it. And you can buy a separate chase controller. Then in LOR, all you would have to do is turn on a single channel. ErnieHorning
You also buy a chase controller that you could plug four of your light strings into. Then you could connect the chase controller to one your LOR channels.
