Bowshock
I was reading the instructions and I'm a bit confused. Do you have to have 2 DC power sources to power both V1 and S1? Right now I'm only planning on 3 servos so one header should be fine. Also, I'm going to use a linksys power adapter. On side of the wire is black, the other has white dashed lines. Which side is +?Thanks!!
-klb-
There is probably a convention about which lead is the identified lead for DC power like that, but I expect that there will be a number of cases of imported consumer products where the just made sure their plug was correct for their application, and that the identified wire is the wrong one..I wold say that the only safe way would be to use a volt meter to check. Radio shack has a 15 range digital meter for under $20:http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4214667Set it to DC volts at least as high as your supply, make sure the red lead is set up to the red input, and when connected to the supply, and the display does not read negative volts, the wire connected to the read lead will be your positive. There are probably plenty of other sources of cheap volt meters out there also. Here is one from Home Depot:http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1vZ1xgg/R-100147713/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053Oddly, it looks nearly exactly like some I picked up from Harbor Freight for $5 each to put in the cars... Though I had to put new batteries in nearly every one of those...
