Guest Don Gillespie
I have a memory stick that I use after I am done sequencing every night I down load all my changes to the stick the dilema I have is when I try to upload them from my home computer to my laptop I am not getting the same sequences coming up,This is what I do I insert my memeory stick into my home computer add the sequence editor to the Kingston stick it asks me if I want to save the changes I always say yes, then I click on remove memory stick safely when it says it is now OK to remove memory stick I do, then I insert the memory stick into my laptop both computers are registered to LOR both are running the same registration # and same LOR 2-8-10 but when I try and save the changes it still comes up with the old laptop sequences what am I doing wrong?? Don
It almost sounds like when uploading files from the memory stick to the computer, they are not being uploaded to the default LOR Folder (on that laptop.) As such, the laptop is pulling up the old sequences, which are still there in the default directory.I'm not at a computer with LOR on it, but if I recall, the LOR Diagnostic utility will tell you where the default folder is currently at. Brian Mitchell
You don't want to save the sequence editor. You want to save the sequence FOLDER
