Anyone ever use the HD LED's with the Martha Stewart brand? I've never seen them before and a little uneasy..Bought a few hundred bucks of the GE Phillips at Target yesterday, and want to buy some M5's, price is decent on the martha's, but c'mon, its Martha Friggen Stewart...don't need that bag jackin up my display!

Would Environmental or CDI be good alternatives to trust to have here within a couple weeks? Thanks for the input

I would assume those are for types of people who think just because it has someones name on it, its worth paying extra for.

Didn't KMart used to carry her brand? I don't personally know anyone who buys KMart lights, regardless of what it says on the box...

I bought 2 boxes from HD to test out and took them back.

Here is what I found from testing.

They are replaceable bulbs. They do not fade well. They come on in jumps.
Manually controlling them through hardware utility they come on at 2% flickering, the at 3% to 20% they do fade, between 20% and 33% no change, then at 34% they flicker, 35% stay on steady and do not change after that.
So 35% seems to be full power.
From what I see I do not recommend them.
The cheap brand performed better coming on at 10% and fading fairly good to about 75%, then ever so slightly from 75-100%

Jerry - You said "the cheap brand" preformed better - Is the the "Holiday Accent" (or something like that) from Home Depot ?

Im afraid I may be stuck with the Martha Brand as I bought 4 sets of Sylvania brand "crystal" style, and Marthas are the only ones I have seen at the stores in that same "crystal" style.

Idono... I might just toss the Sylvania's - they say "warm white" but they look "cool white" to me. DISTINCT difference compared to the Martha Stewart ones.

I just cant buy any lights online because I can never decide how man/ what color I need till I get into my yard... then I make 2 or 3 tripps to the store untill I get it just right. I cant stand the idea of starting something, and then waiting a week for another order to shipp.

Has anyone tested the blue box LED's from Wallmart - thats where I'm heading next.

Yes Giz the Holiday Accent are the ones.

I also bought a box of GE LED's from Lowes and they did pretty good.
Manually adjusting the intensity the would come on dimly at 10% and continue to noticeably fade up till about 65%. Between 65% and 100% only slightly.
They are replaceable bulbs and I did not check if they are full wave, but that doesn't bother me.
