jmraider
Has anyone used the Sonos system to run the audio for shows. I am assuming that you can not use itune songs because they are not MP3....Any thoughts on using songs from your itune library? When I went into the audio folder under LOR and doubled clicked on a sequence song I purchased from LOR it auto opened my itunes and played the song. I then noticed that the song was added to my itunes library. I believe that itunes is my default audio player, is this a potenial problem? If so how do I change it? gizmomkr
JM - there are some programs out there to convert iTunes to MP3, but generally what I recomend is this : Get whatever songs you want aranged from itunes, and burn to a cd.Once on a cd, get a copy of a "cd ripper" - http://www.mycdripper.com/ is just one of many. (its free) this will convert the CD to MP3.These MP3's will play in Sonos or LOR or almost anything. The problem (and number of steps involved) is due to something called DRM. The basic theory is apple wants to make sure only the person that bought the music from the store can play it. Thats why itunes requires a username - it keeps it all tied to YOU and keeps it legal. MP3's dont support DRM, so once a song is in mp3 form, anyone can play it or copy it. Thats why software to convert itunes directly to mp3 is sort of "sketchy" because its technically a violation of the purchase with apple and the copywright holder.I dont want to spark a whole DRM arguement... but thats the basics. jmraider
Thank you for the insight. I assume that the sequences I purchased from LOR with the songs already in MP3 format can reside in my itunes library and thus my Sonos system will play the songs from my itunes library. If I point to my Itune library folder in which the LOR MP3 songs are in from the sequence program all should work. Is this correct?

eravndal
Did you succeed with Sonos? Or will there be a small delay in the sound? (Since sonos sends wireless I guess there will be a second delay)
