Guest guest
The official LOR forum by-laws require you to share the source, assuming it is a commercial source, and not a craigs list/garage sale/etc kind of source. There are several threads re vampire sources, just do a search. I've not considered spt-3, but if the price is right, would go for it.As far as likely sources for vampire plugs, some of the vendors i've been pricing for spt, and plugs are:1000 bulbschriststmas light showcreative displays (CDI)action lightingawcholiday illuminationlightbulb emporiumskycraftnovelty lights(I'm late for a meeting, sorry, so don't have time to post links..) Surfing4Dough
Either way, some (most?) SPT3 wire has the same thickness insulation as SPT2 but just has a UV inhibitor in the insulation. However, some manufacturers actually have a thicker insulation on the SPT3 (0.060 vs 0.045). Therefore on a lot of the SPT3 wire SPT2 plugs will work.
