LED LIGHTS

I was just at the Wal-Mart on state road 200 in Ocala and they had quite a few led and incand. lights on the shelf, some priced at $6.97 for m5 type 60 count leds. The incand. minis were $2.48 for 100 count. I did not buy any because I don't need any more for this year. (I think)

P.S. They had more green LEDs than last year.

YEP ! William you are right they do ,but not normally this early. With your remark this is why a lot of people don't post. As you can see I have only posted 16 times and I thought this might be something that someone would like to know. Now, thanks to you I'll keep any new items to myself.

Thank you

Earle

LOL!

Earle, don't take it personally. I'm probably one of the funniest guys on the board. I love inserting sarcasm into post.

If we can't have a little fun, then... why are we doing this?

Did they have any 5mm lights? I have 2 minitrees waiting on lights. I am getting kind of worried because they didn't carry the orange or purple 5mm for Halloween this year like they did last year.

I actually saw 5mm (30 ct) LED's @ Riteaid of all places. They were like $2.99. I know they "had" orange, not sure about purple

Actually I am needing red, blue and green. I just noticed they didn't have the orange or purple this year so they may not have the 3 colors I need. They were 60ct and were quite bright full wave and dimmed perfectly. The brightness was only exceeded by the more expensive Holiday Creations and flexchange brands.

Keith,

Yes they did have 5mm but I think the price was $8.97 for 50 count string. Someone else was wanting clear on white which they also had at $6.97 for 60 count string.

Hmmm, they used to be 60ct strings. I hope they haven't changed manufacturers. Thanks for the info. Around here one place told me they start putting out Christmas on the 19th. I was in a couple of other branches today and didn't even see any sealed boxes stacked anywhere.

Not sure how much you want to spend of 5mm's BUT...

http://www.holiday-light-express.com/ has great lights (70 ct) ... R,W,B,G,Multi. If not this year, then I suggest getting on his mailing list and knock them out during his preorder next season. Just a thought
