Where to get black rope?

I need to get some black colored rope to use as guy wires for some decorations. Basically I'm looking to buy the same stuff that comes with blowup decorations, only in a roll so I can make my own lengths. I've looked at local hardware stores and all they have is white.

Any idea where to get this? Online or stores?

I got some at a Ace Hardware Store last year. Look for parachute cord, believe it or not.

I bought a 1,000 foot spool of OD parachute cord from cabella's for something like $42. Works well for me.

you can also search for "trick line" or "tie line"

it is what is used in the entertainment industry. some is even rated as high as 500lbs

and if higher strength is needed "tech 12"
