CLD Kevin
One of my Showtime 1602W units last year kept blowing fuses, then finally stop working. I end up not using it.Today I took it out, plugged it in and the led light on the board came right on. I'm getting 120V through the switch and to the board on both mains, but I'm also getting 120V on Ch 13? This is before turning on any of channels. Ch 13 power constantly stays on.I ran it through the utility hardware and Ch13 still constantly stays on. It will not turn off, blink, flash, fade…nothing, except stay on. All other channels seem okay. Do I have a bad channel?
Brian Mitchell
Sounds like a blown triac. Probably had something that shorted on that channel last year.
CLD Kevin
Is there an easy fix? Or sum it up to an unusable channel?
Max-Paul
Lets try something that is cheap and I have now seen it fix a problem like this once. But I will 2nd the reply you got that it is more than likely a blown triac. But back to a fast and maybe cheap fix first. Look at the two dial switches that set the address of the controller. Note current setting. Turn both to zero. Power up the controller and wait for the LED to either stop blinking or settle down to a steady rhythm. Power down and return the dial switches back to the noted setting. Power back up and test output 13. Hope this cures the problem, but not really going to hold my breath.Depending on how handy you are with a soldering iron and desoldering. If you are, then get a triac from LOR. Otherwise call LOR and make arrangements to ship the board back for service.
CLD Kevin
I did as you said, but the blinking never settle down...fast blink. I let than run for about 10 mins...no change. I restored all setting back, but no such luck. Still getting 120V on Ch13. Oh well, I'll send it in for repair. Thanks for the suggestion!

Once you see the fast blink, the controller is reset. It takes less than a second. We always tell people to wait a few second which is overkill... Waiting any longer will not help.Agreed that it should be sent in for repair. We have about a 2 week repair backlog so make sure to get it in soon. The repair address is at the bottom of the support page.Dan
