jjdurrant
Just want to make sure I understand... unlike LEDs, all incandescents are dimmable right? What happens if you try and dim non-dimmable LEDs?
JBullard
If you try to dim a non-dimable LED, it dies!
jjdurrant
Ok.. so they become damaged or they just shutoff?
JBullard
Different brands will behave differently! They usually DIE a slow (or sometimes fast) death. Damaged until they shut down.Back in 2008 some were sold that would "explode" or "combust" (catch on fire) when they were dimmed. Why don't you buy some, and run your own tests?
