Steve Geske
I live on the Gulf Coast of Texas and lost all my lights and Christmas decorations to Hurricane Ike. Lots of damage to my home and to the island where I live. This year I wanted to bring some life back to my community so I decided to build a cool LOR display.I thought I'd start small with a 32 channel LOR package....and, as I'm sure you veterans have already guessed.....I think I've bitten off more than I chew! I never realized how complicated the process is. This is as much art as it is science!! I'm man enough to realize that I sure could use some help in getting my first LOR Christmas show off the ground. The members of this forum seem like a great brotherhood. I see many offers for sharing and I would be very appreciative for any sequences that anyone could share or loan me so that I can get my neighborhood lit up again. I really could use an assist. Thank you in advance for any help you can give.Steve

Bob Wingert
Steve! Most of my sequences are 48 channel, I have 45 so far. If you'd like some or a list shoot me a PM. Best of luck & sorry about Ike and the destruction he did. I was in Charleston thru Hugo so I KNOW how destructive they can be!

ainsworth
SteveI live down in Kingsville so I'm a long way away from Galveston, but as a fellow Texan I love to help you out.I have a number of 16 channel sequences from last years display. You can see some of the songs I used at http://vimeo.com/user2516510/videos. You can also see how I had my lights setup on the house so you can get an idea if it would be an easy fit for your layout. If you would like any of them, please contact me at burceainsworth@att.net and I will email them up to you ASAP.Bruce

Steve Geske
Pete,Thanks for your help! You are a life saver!! I will whole heartedly take you up on your very generous offer. You don't know how much I appreciate your help. If your sequences are 32, then I'm sure I can get up and running for Christmas. My email is: clsislander@yahoo.comI can assure you that by next year my skill set will be much improved and hope that I can return the favor by giving some of my stuff to you. Thanks again!!!Steve
Steve Geske
Don,Thanks for the lifeline! I will take you up on your help offer. You may not believe this but I know where Medicine Hat is! I do quite a bit of business in Canada and travel up there a few times a year. You guys don't get hurricanes but I can tell you they are not fun. I had 4 feet of salt water through my house and it trashed everything...especially the electrical stuff. The island I live on is 2 miles around and we had to cut down over 300 trees that were either ripped apart by the winds or killed by the salt and demolish over 50 homes. It's a little bare around here so that's why I want to "light things up" a bit this year.I am starting with a 32 chanel set up (and I hope to be much more proficient by next year). I whole heartedly thank you for your generous offer of help. Nothing like a little Texas light show built by a Canadian! THANKS AGAIN!!!!SteveMy email is: clsislander@yahoo.com
Steve Geske
Thanks for the encouragement! I used to live up in Minnetonka before I moved to Texas. I'd trade a Minnesota snowfall for a Texas hurricane any time!!
