Leo Nichols
I have updated to the newest code and every time I start any of the Light-O-Rama programs, I get 'Window is configuring' messages. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the programs, and it still keeps happening every time I start any program.

Guest guest
Would recommend you read the installation issues threads in the "troubleshooting faqs" section. A lot of different reasons this can occur, a lot dependent on if it is a first time install you're having issues with, or an upgrade, or just what.If you can post a few more details, many on here will be able and willing to help.If you're having problems with an upgrade, your single best bet, if LOR was previously working, is to make sure you uninstall the old version, and if necessary, use the registry wiper on the LOR page.I had a similar issue on one machine...definitely frustrating, turned out to be a com port driver issue..found it on a hunch...you may have to try several things. But again, if you already had it working on the same machine, a clean uninstall and reinstall has a good chance of fixing it. Rick Akins
Thanks for your reply...I'm running video editing software.Thinking this might confilct with lor,but I'm not sure...This is the first time running LOR since reloading the OS earlier this year.I tend to believe it might be a com port confilct. by clean uninstall you mean deleting all the folders that it makes? Guest guest
Do a normal uninstall with the software. Also, use the registry wiper found on the downloads page: http://www.lightorama.com/downloads.Reboot after every step, can never hurt.Definitely do not just delete folders, etc. unless your uninstall is completely non-functional. If you're getting the "configuring" message, you should still be able to do a normal uninstall.
Rick Akins
I'm having trouble doing a clean uninstall. I will uninstall LOR and then reboot. Then I go to LOR"S web site and download their software and it does not ask me for the key code. This tells me that not all of the software program is removed from my computer. What do you think is going on and how can I fix this problem? Guest guest
Just downloading the software will not request a key code..that comes after install.Would recommend uninstalling, rebooting, use registry wipe tool (downloads page), and try reinstall. Rick Akins
well on he video editing that's just a guess on my part....I know that when I installed video editing. It changed my computer to the log in icon during boot up.. I don't like to run the log on icon, buecause it's just me and my wife that use the computer. The video editing changed that. An I can't change it or I don't know how. The video editing software that I'm using is pinncale studio 12.
Guest guest
Download a program called "powertoys for windows", its free, and you can set your login up as needed..Sounds very strange that caused you to have that problem...
