Delay problem in sequencing lights with music FYI

I have a talking Christmas tree in my display and the mouth movements have to match exactly with the lyrics in a song. I completed about 6 songs and everything was working great on the computer. The problem arose when I hooked up the controllers and started the music sequence - THE LYRICS AND MUSIC DID NOT MATCH THE DISPLAY!

I went back and made sure that the MP3 songs were at 128 bit rate and at a constant bit rate. They were. I found the problem and was able to correct it. I discovered that I had used a new set of wireless headphones, this caused a .20 second delay in the programming. I switched back to the wired headphones, moved the entire sequence over .20 second (in every song) and everything was normal and running smooth.

My suggestion: Avoid using the wireless headphones when sequencing and you should be OK.
