Terry Hurrle
I probably am looking for the answer in the wrong place. I am trying to find out how to have my lights on steady for a determined amount of time. I am sure I have the answer right in front of me and just am not seeing itThanks
jim6918
All I did last year was to create a new animation sequence (not a musical sequence)for a particular time length. Then once you have your channel configuration imported, click and drag the cursor highlighting the entire sequence and click On.I did exactly the same thing for sequences with all lights off, which worked great for a short all lights off sequence between songs.I havent upgraded to 2.8 + yet so there might be an even easier way. (Or you could just make sure all your sequences end with all channells OFF - that's what I do and have never had a problem.) Under the 'Musical' tab, you also have a control that lets you set a time delay between sequences.
Max-Paul
Terry there are different technics for different effects. Are you looking to do this in the middle of the show. So, lets say the show runs and you want a period that the lights are on between shows. Or after the prescribed show time is over (no more shows after say 10pm. Then you want the lights to stay on from 10 pm to say 1 am?So, would you please explain just what you are trying to do.ThanksTerry Hurrle wrote: I probably am looking for the answer in the wrong place. Terry Hurrle
Max,It would be for a 45 minute segment during a show I would need the lights on then back to the show. One night only during Judy Pancoasts concert.ThanksTerry
Max-Paul
Oh boy, more than I care to chew. I would think that someone will come along and tell you how to make something like an event and to use an input contact to trigger the event. Cause I figure you might want to just tap a switch and go to the event than to make a show and have the lights go all on at a given time. Doing it that way, everyone has to be ready at that time and be cued in by the show. What if someone is not ready? And the lights go all on and no one comes out to do their thing? As I said, this is deeper than I have been in the past. So I'll just pass this one. Brian Mitchell
I would create a sequence for all lights on.I would put it in a show named ConcertI would schedule it for the time frame of the concert.OROn the night of the concert I would just run in and Disable the light show, start the sequencer, click on Play, repeat and start the lights on sequence. Then when its time for HOCS, I would turn off the repeat and play the HOCS sequence. After I would just shut down the sequencer and Enable the show again.
