bwolcott
Hello all...Question can I run 2 songs and 2 sequences at the same time?We are doing up a big ghost town this year and will be running the light show on front the town, we also want to play a thunder and lightning show behind the town with a switch or button. So basically when someone presses a button we want our thunder and lightning to turn on all the while not interrupting the main show.Is this possible with one computer and one version or LOR running? Steven
bwolcott wrote: Question can I run 2 songs and 2 sequences at the same time?LOR cannot play 2 audio files at the same time. However, you could run the thunder and lightning sequence as a "magic toy" triggered sequence. It can't be a musical sequence. But...You could have the thunder and lightning sequence start a "Windows Command" that would start an audio player (not Windows Media Player, since it's already being used by LOR) with your thunder sound. It would be hard to get it exactly in sync, but as long as the lightning flashes happen a bit before the thunder sound, it would look good. jem5136
Steven has a good idea, and a thunder and lighting sequence doesnt alway have to be sequences exactly, a lot of time you see lightning before you ever hear the thunder, and that is because light travels faster then sound does. Sthunder69
Here are a couple of hypothetical situations...a) 1 sound system - one audio track = use one sequence and put the lightning on a separate "track" 1 sound system - two audio tracks = Mix them to one audio and see situation 1C)1 computer - two sequences with separate audios and separate sound systems = use two computers
bwolcott
Cool thanks everyone. Anyone know of a good audio editor?
Sthunder69
Well there is "Good" and there is free. Audacity is free and not bad.S
Sthunder69
Re-reading the original post... Only issue is that you want the lightning triggered. If so, you could use two computers and feed the audio via "Y" or mini mixer to your single audio rig.S
