Guest guest
I have programmed a song and set the spacing of the grid to every .01 of a second. I want my mega tree to spin fast and using this timing it will spin around 3 times in one second and it has 32 strands of lights on it. I seem to remember trying this timing out on my dad's tree last year which has 40 strands on it and it seemed to work. Before I put a lot of effort into is this too fast for the lights to react. On the sequence editor it seems to work good, but how will it translate to the actual tree. Has anybody used this short of a timing before with success? Guest guest
That speed will work BUT you should leave each strand on for more than 0.01 seconds. Leave each strand on for something like .03 seconds. This way the adjacent channels will be overlapping each other a little. That is fine. It will still spin as fast but it will look better.
