TWright
What are your thoughts as to constructing sequences using Mp3 as opposed to using a WAV file
Victory402
When I do my sequencing I use wav files, then when it's show time I switch back to MP3.Sometimes mp3's behave funny when used to sequence for me, not sure why.
Denny
I use wav for sequencing. Since my computer runs the show, I use wav during the show also.

George Simmons
I use constant bit rate MP3 files that I've converted through Audacity and have no issues with sequencing.
Philip
I too convert my mp3 in audactiy, but sometimes I still run across a song that just isn't quite right and won't behave even after conversion

lightzilla
I sequence in MP3 but I also use the Lor MP3 Mini Director unit to run the show some times (especially if I am not home). I used the Lor MP3 Mini Director unit to run the show last year. This year my Lap Top and the Lor MP3 Mini Director unit will run the show.MP3 is for me. Greg Young
For a commercial display I setup that uses the mp3 director I use 128kbps mp3s.For home I always use wavs, as I have a pc running the show. The quality difference in the audio is quite noticeable between even a 320 kbps mp3 and a wav file.Again if you use wavs you can't use a mp3 director. As to editing, I edit both mp3s and wavs without issue, because I use CBR, not VBR in conversion of the wavs to mp3s.Greg
