Stringing up the Mega tree with a spiral

Any one know how to place the light strands to a mega tree to have it spiral ? I believe this topic has come up before, I just cant find it. Any help would be greatful. :cool:

I think it would be cool to do a spiral tree on top of a regular mega tree. So you can spiral and spin. With lights running up the pole. SO 16 red, 16green, 16 white then spiral 16 with 16 sections going up the pole.

I am doing just that, dont want to lose all the programming I already had done. So I am doing a webber tree on the outside of my standard mega tree
