Don In Kenner-LA Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Hi all.I was wondering where do you all get the clips to add to your display that you show outside while your display is running..Thanks Don
emcee Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 This year I am adding the Virtual Santa to my show. I'm planning on projecting it in a dormer window on my house so it is easily seen from the street.http://christmaslightshow.com/xcart/product.php?productid=5&cat=3&page=1Others have used video clips from their favorite movies or TV specials to project, (think Christmas Vacation, Santa Claus the Movie, Celtic Women concert) often synchronized to the music. If you make a lower resolution copy for personal use, you should not run afoul of the "Fair Use" exemption to copyright.Your Mileage May Vary.Mike
toddmoon Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 I purchased virtual santa last year and it was a big hit. I am hoping to get some Halloween clips for this year.
Paul Roberson Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Most of the videos I use are from movies, or several "clips", or even still pictures put together to make a video.Motion Loops. com is a good place to find 1000s of clips. If you sign up (its free) with them you get a free (it cost nothing, not even shipping) motionloop every week.Edit.....Just remembered there are some videos posted here.
