CCR Not found

I have my first CCR and I would love to try them out but need a Little help!

I read the manual and some of what in in the forums but the answer escapes me.



I am running S2 2.8.8. I have installed USB485B and the enclosed software, running windows XP. I have been able to set the Unit ID, and the red light is not blinking on the on the CCR CR-150D. I might add that in the Hardware utility box at the top it states "Light-O-Rama Hardware V1.6.4 ( do I need an firmware update for that?)

When I click the configure tab at the bottom of the hardware utility box it looks different than the one in the manual i.e. no ccr-cofir screen tab at bottom and no input channel box. I have also tried to hit the refresh tab and it can not find the unit.

What am I missing? Thanks for the advise!!

You need at least version 2.4.9 of the hardware utility to run the CCR. (Manual, page 7)

Seeing as how the software and hardware utility are not matching, I suspect that might be the issue. You could either run the install again and choose the "Repair" option, or simply uninstall and re-install the software. (Please, make a backup of your music/sequences first.)

I wonder why when I updated to 2.8.8 if failed to update the hardware utility? Anyway I ran it again under repair and it did update the hardware utility. I appreciate the help. I see there is substantial learning cure to the ccrs! Thanks again for the help!!!
