Stupid Question #22

To any of you Electrical Nerds (and I mean that in a GOOD way!!).

Would this cable be ok to use for LED's?
I would only be running 1 string of 70 M6 lights on each pair of wire, longest run being about 30 feet.

Or should I be looking for something with at least 18AWG?

I would not use that wire to power 110V LED strings.

While the conductors (26 gauge) are large enough for the current of a 70 ct string, and even though it says it can handle 300V, I've handled similar wire and it seemed too light weight.

It would be great for lower voltage DC lighting. I'd have no problem with that.

But - based on the listed ratings, yes, it would work for single strings.
