Custom Made 64 Channel Enclosure on eBay

As nice as it looks it is not worth nearly $800.00 for two PC controllers and plugs may not be included.........well there are no plugs attached.

Lower it to $450.00 and it might sale faster. Anyhow someone will but it even though the Lor summer sale is coming soon.

Not everything on email is a good price that is for sure.

Its four controllers mounted on a stand.

I wonder how much the enclosure would sell for as a stand alone.

Sorry my bad.....4 controllers. I had my tongue wrapped around my I tooth and I couldn't see what I was saying.

Still if they were bought during a Feb. sale then they are $114.00 ea., if bought during a summer sale then the cost would be $121.00 ea.

So say $456.00 + what $100.00 for the material...............so give him somewhere between $556.00 - $600.00 for it.

Still it is to close to the summer sale.

Hey Jim

You seem to find all these LOR controllers on Ebay all the time.

Are we sure those 30 you built aren't the same ones?:P

So you are only willing to give this guy $44.00 labor charges for the trial and error of designing and building the enclosure. From looks of the pictures this looks like a quality product. LOR charges $21.00 for an enclosure that can only house one controller and the only reason they can sell so low is they buy in high volume. Granted $800.00 is a bit steep for an enclusure that is including the lower priced PC controllers and no dongles. But he does deserve more than $44.00 in labor.

After another look of the product, it does not look water proof either which is a big negative.

I think you would need to contact him via the eBay listing.

Click on the link in the first post (takes you to eBay) then on the right in the eBay site under "Seller Info" click on the "ask a question" link.

He will respond to you via email.

EDIT:

I just "asked a question" of him to provide me with either a website or his email address...will post it when he provides it.

This is the response I got from Scott...the guy who is making these:

"Thanks for your interest. I am working on a website now and should have at least a minimal site up by this weekend. I am meeting with the plastic fabricator and working on a completely waterproof/sealed enclosure. The initial enclosures we made weren't designed to be sealed. I know for most that is a concern. I will keep you posted.

So...if you want an answer sooner, I would go thru the eBay process stated above to ask him a question.
