TN Mini Location Information...


The TN Mini will be held the evening of Friday June 25 and Saturday June 26 at the home of Mary and Roger Forbes, 708 Holston Ave., Elizabethton, TN 37643. The event will cover a wide range of Christmas display ideas. Information on the area can be found at
or call the chamber at 423-547-3850. Some information on the area is: Home of the worlds largest naturel Rhododendron Garden,Carter Masion oldest frame home in TN, Covered Bridge Park built in 1882, Kayaking Watauga River one of the longest and rangeing from class 1 to class 5, The Liberty outdoor drama the oldest outdoor drama in state. We are 50 miles from Biltmore house in Asheville, NC,
. The down town area of Elizabethton has a wide range of events encludeing one of the largest free car club displays every Saturday night. As you can see we have a wide range of things to do and enjoy. There are several hotels in area, the Americaourt (423-542-4466) is only two miles from location and there are several in Johnson City seven miles away.

The Following Events are plained:

1. Extension cord makeing and repair

2. Basic Soldering

3. LOR controlled static display light cut off and on device (build your own at mini, parts provide)

4. Enclosures for devices

5. Electric pannels and breakers

6. Coat hanger tircks

7. Hanging eve lights made easy

8. Fild trip to Bristol Motor Speedway for tour and Christmas light warehouse tour.

9. Several nice door prizes with more coming in.

Don't like to bump just for the sake of bumping, but I need to start getting a count if possible in order to plain how many soldering stations and electrical panels to set up and more inportant food. Thanks Roger
