Terry Hurrle Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 I was sent a sequence that when I try to open I get an error saying "expected white space". Any clues what is going on?
Don Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Sounds like a change was made to the file, that the Sequencer wasn't expecting. It could have been your email program, or your operating system that made the (slight) change while saving, etc.You could try opening the file in a text editor and see if something looks horribly wrong, (use a COPY of a known good sequence to compare). Otherwise, I would ask the person to resend the file to you.
Terry Hurrle Posted May 22, 2010 Author Posted May 22, 2010 It was sent twice and tried to open on two different computers. The program was converted from another program to LOR2. He said the person that converted it can open it. Guess I will just do it from scratch. I also get invalid procedure call or argument error message. Confused.
Don Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Just to follow up here: I looked at the file for Terry, and it would seem that the file didn't make it through the email system without some damage to it. When we looked at the file in a text editor, it was obvious that it had been cut short. This is what was giving Terry the error message in the Sequence Editor.
