  1. Okay, I figured out that when I switched from a Pixie8 to a 16, I had to redo the preview and have it 'talk' to the Pixie and got all the port associations, names, etc all set correctly in the preview. But now, I can't figure out how to add these to the channel list to add effects on the sequencer.
  2. Okay, I fixed that. Last problem is my channels in my sequence got deleted somehow. How do I add the RGB channels on a Pixie strip back into the Sequence?
  3. I bought 2 of the Pixie2 boxes and the 4 strips that came with it a year ago. When I purchased them, they were to go in opposite directions, meaning 50 to 1 instead of the default pixel 1 to pixel 50. Two problems: first, how do I add those channel back that were deleted? And also, how do I change them back so instead of counting from 50 to 1 on the strip's controller end, they count the default way 1 to 50? Thanks so much community :D
  4. Hey everyone! I'm debating going back and forth from Xlights and LOR but I apparently need to build their version of the preview. Is there a tutorial or easy way to do this? I've been looking for a few hours and can't find an intuitive way to export LOR S5 preview to Xlights. I'm still going to use LOR but I want to dabble :D
  5. I'm cutting a few pixie strips and need the silicon end caps to seal the ends. There are 10mm and 12mm options on Amazon, does anyone know the exact size for them? I'm assuming they're the 5050 strips. Here's the amazon link: https://smile.amazon.com/Cover-Sealant-Waterproof-Silicone-Strip/dp/B07YPWK1GC/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?crid=2J1B2I3O9KCPA&dchild=1&keywords=led%2Bstrip%2Bend%2Bcap&qid=1631996349&sprefix=led%2Bstrip%2Bend&sr=8-5&th=1&psc=1
  6. We got our lightshow up later than usual because, well life. I was hoping to get new songs this year but couldn't get to them. If this is permissible, I'm happy to share some of mine if others have a similar setup and want to share what they have as well. We'll all agree not to sell, license, etc. our files just mutually share for our own personal use. I have 3 talking faces with the 7 channels (2 for the eyes, O, E, Top/Mid/Bottom mouth) as well as vertical and horizontal CCRs along the roof lines and several spot lights. The setup is very similar to Cracker's original house since he and I collaborated quite a bit in the beginning. I have Uptown Funk and What Makes You Beautiful I programmed myself. I'm looking for Ghostbusters, Monster Mash, and any good Halloween song to add to the show. Thanks so much!!! :D :D
  7. I have 2 Pixie 8 controllers, 9 CCR II, and 3 of the 1602 Gen 3 16-plug controllers. At what point is the load on a network too much? I currently have 2 but want to move stuff to one network but am worried it's too much. How many channels can be on one network or is there another measure for network load? Thanks :D
  8. That was weird - it saved it to my backup folder instead of the default LoR file folder. Is there a tutorial about the proper way to add CCRs to the visualizer? Also, I have 2 main rooflines: top has 4 CCRs left to right, bottom has 5 CCRs left to right. Is there any way to easily 'connect' the strips so I can program them to do effects across the roofline? Kinda like a morph across the whole house left to right. I searched in the help file but couldn't really find how to add the CCR2 pixe controller and how to connect them.
  9. I recently purchased a SuperStar license and hooked up the 2CCR Pixe controller to a cat5 cable to test some effects in the computer room. I created a simple visualizer file with the two strips configured to 'talk' to the strip but when I try to load the file in Superstar, the file doesn't pop up in the list. What am I doing wrong?
  10. I'm using these extensions from my lights to the pixel controller. The end of the extension is that circular 3-pin cap piece. What needs to go in the controller are those green pixel connectors shown in the LoR store here: http://store.lightorama.com/8paofpicofor.html How do you know which wire goes to which I think is what he (and I) are asking.
  11. Is there any way to easily reverse the order of one of the strings on the pixie controller?
  12. Just got finished changing all my Unit IDs. What a PAIN!!!!!! I wish they had made it a little more clear when purchasing the Pixie controllers how the unit IDs worked..... Thanks for the tip and the screen shot. My wife is an excel spread sheet on steroids and would love to make that and keep it up to date! Hope you have a great holiday season and thanks for the help!!
  13. I'm having an issue with my show and I think it's because this issue. I replaced my CMB16's with Pixie controllers (a Pixie4 and a Pixie8). My pixie4 is Unit ID 02. I have a CCR that is unit 03 and that is behaving exactly the same as the strip on the pixie4. Are they behaving as the same Unit ID ?? If so, is the only solution to change the unit IDs?
  14. I've got it working on Sequence Editor, I was wondering how to add them on the Visualizer
  15. The pixie is just one Unit ID. Then they have 4, 8, or 16 sub IDs or whatever they call them
