  1. I would like a copy sent to msm67@hotmail.com I agree to not sell or share this sequence with anyone. This request will be used for my private, personal use on my show only. I also understand the mere fact of making changes to the borrowed sequence and pasting it in to my sequence does not make it mine to share.
  2. I just made the dumbest mistake and am hoping that my board is not fried. While completing multiple tasks at once, I made the mistake of plugging the Pixie 16d board directly into a 120v outlet instead of going through the 12v power supply (please don't ask how I made this mistake...ugh!). Now, when plugged in properly, the status LED will not light up on the board. Is there sort of fuse that I can replace or can the board be reset somehow? I have attempted to hold down the reset button but no luck. None of the individual strand fuses are blown and there is no visible damage to the board. Thank you in advance for your input.

  4. Thank you James for sharing your sequences with everyone. These are a huge help for everyone!

  7. I purchased the same unit earlier this year and it appears to perform very good from my initial tests. The sticker on mine says it came from www.elecsky.com - I think I paid about $50 + $25 shipping for it on ebay. Just search for CZH-05B and you will find it sold on many websites for about the same price.
  8. you may laugh at a 6-channel Mr. Christmas product now, but it is only a matter of time before someone truly commercializes a 16 or 32 channel (possibly expandable) product that can be sold at the big box stores. It obviously would never compete with a 128 LOR system, but it would be simple to set up with pre-loaded sequences. I agree that this system is good as it gets people hooked on the idea that they could do more with their lights than just plug them in at the beginning of every night.
  9. Thanks everyone for your comments, it really helps to hear the feedback of others who have already been there done that. I was feeling a bit frustrated with my sequencing as I have nine new songs this year in my show and not a single sequence is completely done. I agree with your both of your comments on the Carol of the Bells sequencing - although I enjoy the "tricks" that I used in the song, it doesn't flow as smoothly as the sequencing does on Sarajevo. I like your idea of intro/body/conclusion in sequencing a song and will keep that in mind as I go along.
  10. I need you help! This is my second year using LOR, however, it is my first year creating my own sequences from scratch. I must admit that sequencing from scatch is MUCH harder than it looks. I've spent countless hours throughout the year and I'm still not satisfied with where I am at. This year I have six controllers with approximately 13,000 white LED lights and 13,000 Blue LED lights. Can you please watch the following videos of my show and let me know what you would do differently? Your feedback (positive or negative) would be much appreciated. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5cjd4ivivg&feature=plcp Carol of the Bells http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIRv0M05E5U&feature=plcp Another Video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkxB72wYhXw&feature=plcp
  11. I am planning on putting up a 18 feet Mega Weber (Spiral) Tree at my home this year and need your input. I have decided to go with only two colors my first year: 3200 LED Blue M5's and 3,200 LED White M5's. My question is this: I only purchased a single controller for this tree. Will 8 Channels for Blue and 8 channels for white be enough to turn out ok or do I absolutely need to buy another controller so I have 16 channels for each color? Your input would be greatly appreciated.

    HOT Deal

Will the Home Depot Vampire plugs work with SPT-2 wire as well or will they only work with SPT-1 wire?
  13. I am in the Orlando area - add me to your list.
  14. Sounds great! I need 100+ strands of cool white LED lights
  15. Are any of the 60k lights LED?
  16. I am looking to build a ~12' Webber Tree this year and would like your input. Why does everyone build a metal conduit pole in the middle supported by guy wires instead of building a tree out of PVC? The cost would be about the same for both options, but the PVC tree seems easier to maintain and set up if you do all of the preparation ahead of time. I found this video on YouTube. You would not need to worry about the wind snapping your pole or the guy wires becoming loose with a PVC constructed tree. Please send me your thoughts!
  17. I purchased a controller last December from Will and the quality of the product was top notch. He had a slight shipping delay when dealing with a family emergency - and made the situation right by covering the additional cost to overnight the controller. To me, that gesture was enough to confirm that Will is a good LOR partner. In fact, I would like to order another Option 4. Will - can you send me an invoice for another controller?
  18. To follow up, my unit arrived on the 13th of December, and it looks exactly as described. I would also like to give you my condolences for your loss. Had I known that you had some form of personal emergency to attend to, I would never have pushed to get my controller sooner. Best of luck
  19. Solution Found! The Unit ID inside the controller was preset to 0, 0. I moved the second dial to 1, and my computer immediately began recognizing the controller. My understanding is that LOR now presets the unit ID's to 0,1 so newbies like myself do not bang their heads against the wall trying to figure out why the computer won't recognize the controller. Thank you all for your help!!!
  20. Would anyone be available to do a quick teamviewer session as a sanity check to make sure that I am not missing something very simple? Attached files

  22. I installed LOR on a second computer at home, installed the drivers, then hooked it all up. I tried running teh HWU and am recieving the same error message. So, either I am missing a simple step over and over or there is a hardware issue??? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I tried manually setting the COM port and then hitting refresh, it just says "Found 0 Units" in the blank and the controller continues to flash red. I have tried two different computers (Windows Vista on one & Windows 7 on the other), two different USB Cables, three different CAT5 Cables. Yes, I did make sure to use the same USB output and that the COM Port in the device manager matched the COM port that I am manually choosing in the HWU.
  23. I installed and registered the LOR software. I made sure that the sequence editor is not actively open and that the light bulb icon is not in my system tray. I have the HWU open and am trying to auto configure. I do not have a show enabled right now. I tried manually choosing COM3 and then hitting refresh, and it said that it found 0 controllers. any other ideas?
  24. The controller has a red blinking light on it, does that mean that it is turned on? The cat5 cable is plugged into the controller and the USB adapter. I have tested multiple cat5 cables to make sure it is not a bad cable. Any suggestions for more troubleshooting?
  25. It recognizes the USB as "USB Serial Port (COM3)" under the device manager once I plug it in.
