Thank you for the info and for the detailed write up on the Pixie16 configuration. One thing that I failed to make clear in my original post is that each 100 pixel string on the tree is connected to a different port (Unit ID) on the Pixie16. It is using 7 of the 16 ports with each of the 7 ports containing exactly 100 pixels. The seven 100 pixel strings are just wrapped end-to-end around the tree; the strings are not connected to each other and no port has more than 100 pixels. I have an artificial Christmas tree that is wrapped in pixels. The tree has 700 pixels. They are seven 100 pixel strings connected to a Pixie16. The strings are wrapped around the tree end to end. The first string starts at the bottom and then the next string starts where the first one leaves off. The end of the 7th string ends at the very top of the tree. When trying to create a prop it seems like the "Tree 360 spiral" would be appropriate but I can't figure out how to model all seven 100 pixel strings. If I enter 7 for "Actual # of Strings" it creates seven different strings each

Aligning the holes actually wasn’t that difficult. I printed the pattern for the holes on a large format printer and then laid the pattern on top of the sign. I used a small punch to mark the center of each hole and then took the pattern off and drilled the holes. I used a drill guide to make sure I held the drill straight while drilling (link below). I built my horizontal pixel matrix out of 3/4” plywood and drilled holes on 1.5” centers. It is has 36 rows of 100 pixels, but only used 20 rows this past year due to the 40 CCR (now 60 CCR) SuperStar license limit. It has a 2” X 6” frame and has 1/4” plywood on the back that encloses the CCP controllers within the matrix frame. It was a lot of work to build, but it’s the approach I took. That's disappointing to hear. I only actually needed a 48 CCR license for a 24 X 100 pixel matrix, which leaves me only 8 CCRs short. Anyway, thank you Brian for providing the updated information.

Is there any additional information on if the 80 CCR license will be available this year?
