I have a 32 string 56 pixels per string mega tree. It is 16 strings of 112 pixels folded over at the top. I am using the 16 outputs on my 682, I string of 112 on each. On the controller setup I have it zigzag at every 56. In Pixel editor I have done the same. Should the setup in the pixel editor be 32 strings of 56 with no folds? I have half the strings running up and the other half down. Any help would be appreciated

Prop definition page assistance needed
SteveMaris replied to SteveMaris's topic in LOR S4 Pixel Editor
Thank you Matt -
I am setting up a pixel tree prop that is 16 strings 112 pixels each (folded over for 32) starting with dmx universe 2. Universe one has all my a/c channels. On the right column I have selected 510 max channels to match my e682. My question is in regards to the "individual start channel button. Would I need to check this box or leave it alone? Will I be able to sequence with the lights working after setting it all up? Thanks, Steve

new to this how do I hook up two monitors
SteveMaris replied to msavage's topic in LOR S4 Visualizer
You don't need a video card that expensive to run 2 monitors for LOR. I used this one on my desktop computer, works great. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7373215&SRCCODE=WEBGOOPA&scid=scplp692098&gclid=CjwKEAiAveWnBRCzjqf4zpuUkGYSJABcoZbHog-58whO_IhJVBKIabhojwFfZPwOXwWsMJnedxgn9xoCSwrw_wcB -
After setting up the network configuration did you close out LOR and then re-open it?

Have you considered taxidermy? A stuffed cat with rgb pixels for eyes? just a thought... -
I would recommend a 6804 or a 682 pixel controller. Is is very easy to setup and use. You can run up to 2040 pixels off each one. Even if you start small (pixel arches) you will have lots of expansion room for future "go big or go home" projects. http://www.sandevices.com/products.html I also agree that spiral trees rule.
