  1. Description pretty much explained it all but I've got a 22' wide space to work with at the front of my yard. I've purchased two CCRs and would like to have four arches made from these. Based upon the length of the CCRs and people's personal experiences, how far apart should I space the bases (rebar) for each PVC arch? On a side note, what are most people using for PVC? 3/4"?? Thanks in advance!

Then inport it into Bob's program, flip it and rename it. Then take it off the clipboard and paste it over the original sequence? I'll of course save the original full sequence with a different name in case of catastrophic failure. Is there a limit to the number of channels or time that can be utilized with Bob's Flip Tool? Thanks in advance!
  3. Eventually hmm... guess we're not going to get that date any further nailed down huh?
  4. OK, so here's the set-up. Four eight foot arches utilizing two CCR's to create two arches each (CCR1 = Arch 1&2, CCR2 = Arch 3&4). I have a control box I want to mount between Arch 2&3 to keep all of the wires nice and protected. I didn't think about this however before beginning the sequencing aspect of these. Now that I have several sequences done, I've realized I need to change the positioning. Essentially I have 1-50 and then 1-50 when I need 50-1 and then 1-50 so that the box can be in the middle. If I do that though, all my chases and several other sequencing elements w
  5. I ended up returning my spade board and went another route. Would definitely have prefered the screw in board and when I talked to the LOR rep about the refund, etc. she said they were looking into building them again but could not provide a timeline or promise to update me via email.
  6. The quick connect version is not what I was hoping for and would like to know when the screw in terminal version will be available for purchase again. Anyone know when it will be available for sale??

I've been going non-stop for about 4 days now, 14 hours a day and I've been asked very firmly/politely by my fiancee to stop the Christmas lights for three days while we head to Shreveport, LA to visit her family. When I return this weekend I will try that and see if it's the lights. The thing is, it's not that the lights are out just that they don't light up on certain sequences. We'll see.
  11. Oh, I'm running Windows XP and the newest version (2.6.0?) of Light-O-Rama with two sixteen channel heat sink installed controllers. Thanks!
  12. OK, so I've finally got it all set-up, programmed and ready to go. Did my first test show today and I'm pretty pleased with my work with one exception: I've got one channel of C9's (19 to be exact) that will work fine on some songs and not work at all on others. It's all or nothing too, no partial lighting up half way through a song or anything. Any ideas on how to fix this? I do have one BLANK channel that I saved in case of emergency so I could copy and paste this faulty channel into the BLANK channel on all of my sequences but that would take a lot of work. Any help would be greatly a
  13. Need to do my offline registration through the Light-O-Rama support phone number. It's 8:30 CST, will I get a call back tonight or will I have to wait for business hours tomorrow?
  14. Max-Paul, It's almost a mute point b/c as I said, I cannot connect this computer to the internet. I would need to download the update as a separate document and I'm not sure Windows provides for that. I do need to know as soon as possible if LOR 2.6.0 will work on Windows 98 SE. If not, I need to either look at upgrading the operating system on this computer (if the hard drive will allow for it) or purchase a new computer to run the show on. Please let me know ASAP! Thanks guys, Marty
  15. I cannot connect to the internet from this computer at all. I get the internet to my laptop via a Verizon aircard which is not compatible with the dinosaur. Is there anyway to download a Windows update file and then transfer it via CD to the dinosaur? I get the error immediately upon loading, it won't let me into anything. I am trying to load the Seqence Editor to be specific.
  16. OK, so I had an older version of LightoRama on my show computer which is a Windows 98SE dinosaur. Downloaded the new installed for the newest version to a disc and then loaded it. Had several issues getting it to load once I finished the Install Wizard. Finally deleted all old versions and then reinstalled it again. Now I'm getting the "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down." error. Any ideas? I cannot connect to the internet from the show computer just as an FYI. Thanks!
  17. OK, so I've been extremely busy with a new job promotion but things have settled down a little bit. Thats the good news. The bad news is that the dinosaur I scored from my parents free of charge is only running Microsoft Windows 98, not SE (although it does say Second Edition). Am I totally screwed? Is there a way to get a better, more current operating system loaded onto this computer? If so, how much will that run me? Thanks!
  18. Simple solution to a very aggravating problem. Thank you for allowing me to see my first LOR sequence (albeit extremely basic) in real life. I think I may be hooked....
  19. OK, so at this point I have my show computer loaded with the newest version of LOR II. I'd written a small test sequence using the LOR demo. I'm now trying to play that sequence on my show computer. I wrote it on the laptop so I've burned a copy of it and the MP3 I used and transferred them to the show computer. When I go to play the sequence it says "Cannot find media file: C: blahblahblah or the location of the file on my laptop. So I figured, well I'll just start a new musical file using the MP3 and copy over my work to it. When I go to start the new musical sequence and choose the MP
  20. That's exactly what it's doing Don, just sending me to a page with all the code written on it. When I right click the button, I get two options with regards to Save: Save Target As or Save Picture As. Neither of them sound correct...
  21. This may sound like a dumb question but how do I know the difference between the two? I never really used 98 when it came out. Thanks!
  22. Left my USB drive at work. I've downloaded the newest version to my harddrive. Tomorrow I will transfer it to the USB drive then transfer it on to the Windows98 machine and cross my fingers.
  23. Hey guys, OK, so I'm working on updating my Firmware. The version of my controller says it's version 4.02. It seems as if there is now a version 4.30. I'd like to download that and update my controller. Only problem is when I hit the blue firmware button next to my board link (CTB16PC) it takes me to a new internet page with a bunch of hyroglyphics on it. Am I supposed to do something with this? I need to somehow download the file to a USB drive and then upload it to my desktop that I'm using to run my shows from. Sorry for all of the questions, I appreciate your help in advance. Just
  24. OK, so I should have done some reading as there are two separate threads on page two about this same error. Seems as if I need to upgrade my Windows Media Player to version 9 or 10. Here's my issue. I'm doing all my research, sequencing, etc. from my laptop which has Windows Vista with all the bells and whistles. The computer I'm using to play everything from is an old dinosaur care of my parents that's running Windows98. It has no internet access and probably doesn't have a current version of Windows Media Player if it has one at all. Is it possible to download an update from the Window
